John Piekos
Chief Executive Officer
John, through his own personal experiences believes with utter unfathomable conviction that we can make a difference and stop human trafficking for good.
John is a recently retired Detective / Head Negotiator with Scotland Yard, he created Safe & Free in 2012 along with his son Andrew. John drew from his experiences working on some high profile cases. After working with victims of modern slavery and hearing of their own personal heart-breaking stories, John created Safe & Free with the idea that human trafficking needs to be stopped.
Safe & Free has went from strength to strength providing victims of modern slavery the opportunity to come forward for help and also a safe haven where they can find they next important steps. John has personally rescued victims across Europe and provides a voice for the victims up and down the country with educational seminars; these eye opening talks show the types of abuse which these victims went through.
Andrew Piekos

Andrew believes providing education and awareness throughout the country is one of the most important steps in combating Modern Slavery.
Andrew, a compassionate and charity driven individual, started Safe & Free with his father, John back in 2012. Andrew uses his experience in both his professional life and personal life to make a change in the industry.
As a Business graduate from Hull University, Andrew provides the links and knowledge to offer educational awareness to schools up and down the country at primary, secondary and undergraduate level. Everything he does, he does with passion and enthusiasm in ensuring that we are closer to ending human trafficking.

Behind every successfully run company stands an exceptional Chief Officer.
Chloe started at Safe & Free back in 2018 as a budding Accounts Apprentice. She has been an integral part of the team since starting and has risen the ranks from apprentice to manager to chief officer in a short space of time.
Chloe is professional, enthusiastic and always going the extra mile, Chloe believes in Safe & Free’s ethos and is determined to make a positive impact.
